VIIRS DATA RECORDS VIIRS 数据等级与波段介绍 The 22 VIIRS spectral bands are designed to support the generation of 22 Environmental Data Records (EDRs) described later in this document. As shown in Table 1, the M1-M7 bands are used primarily for ocean color and aerosol applications; the M8, M9, M11, M14, I4, and I5 bands for clouds; M12, M13, M15 and 11 M16 primarily for sea surface temperature; I3 and M10 for snow; and I2 and I1 for NDVI and imagery. The typical radiance Ltyp or brightness temperature Ttyp are provided in the Table 1 for reference.
